SUMMARY:Luke Wright: Later Life Letter
DESCRIPTION:Please note that this event is hosted by an external organisation and not St Cecilia’s Hall. For any enquiries about this specific event please see the organiser contact information below. \nScottish Adoption and Fostering\, in conjunction with Adoption UK\, are delighted to present Luke Wright’s Later Life Letter for one special night in Edinburgh. \nWhat does it mean to be someone’s child? How do you honour the parents who raised you while exploring the story of where you came from? And what happens when the life you’ve lived meets the life you might have led? \nIn Later Life Letter\, acclaimed poet and performer Luke Wright explores his own adoption story in a warm\, funny and deeply personal performance blending poetry and stand-up. With his trademark wit\, honesty and razor-sharp observations\, Luke tackles identity\, family\, belonging and the complexities of discovering your roots. \nExpect raucous laughter\, moving moments\, unexpected revelations and even a little drum and bass. This is an unforgettable hour that will make you laugh\, cry and think long after the final words have been spoken. \nJoin us for this special one-night-only Edinburgh performance – a powerful\, funny and heartfelt exploration of adoption\, identity and what makes us who we are. \nTicket price includes a light refreshment and the opportunity to meet Luke Wright at the end of the show. \n\n\nBook Your Tickets Here
