Musica Antica Rotherhithe present cantatas and extracts from operas written for Venice’s public theatres in the mid-seventeenth century\, many of which have lain unperformed for over 350 years. For any enquiries about this specific event please see the organiser contact information below. \n\nAs a self-taught early music punk\, Attila is honoured to have been invited back to the beautiful surroundings of St Cecilia’s Hall for the fifth consecutive year to perform his Early Music Show with accompanist\, brilliant Scottish singer/songwriter Calum Baird\, on guitar. Attila plays crumhorn\, rauschpfeife\, cornamuse\, five different recorders\, violin and mandola. They’ll be performing Attila’s songs from his 2018 album Restoration Tragedy about the tumultuous events in England after the execution of Charles I in 1649. Tales of Levellers\, Diggers and Ranters and Cromwell’s destruction of their dreams for a better world. No tickets necessary. This show is free and is operated on a first come first served basis.

For any enquiries about this specific event please see the organiser contact information below. \nAs a self-taught early music punk\, Attila is honoured to have been invited back to the beautiful surroundings of St Cecilia’s Hall for the fifth consecutive year to perform his Early Music Show with accompanist\, brilliant Scottish singer/songwriter Calum Baird\, on guitar. Attila plays crumhorn\, rauschpfeife\, cornamuse\, five different recorders\, violin and mandola. They’ll be performing Attila’s songs from his 2018 album Restoration Tragedy about the tumultuous events in England after the execution of Charles I in 1649. Tales of Levellers\, Diggers and Ranters and Cromwell’s destruction of their dreams for a better world. \nNo tickets necessary. This show is free and is operated on a first come first served basis.

A light hearted and eclectic mix of fretted instrument music.\n\nCome and join us for an enjoyable hour in the beautiful surroundings of the St Cecilias Music Hall.\n\nEntry is by donation with profits going to support St Cecilia’s and EMGO.
